The Month of May is dedicated to our Lady, the Virgin Mother of God, Mary most holy. "The month of May is beginning. Our Lord wants us to make good use of this opportunity to increase in his love through dealing with his Mother. Let's try each day to show her, through little things, little attentions, that we, her children, love her, that our holiness and apostolate are becoming something real, that we are making a constant effort to contribute to the salvation which Christ has brought to the world." St Charbel's Maronite Catholic Church in Mississauga, Ontario is beginning another phase in its young life. As most of you know, each and every Sunday we are celebrating the Divine Liturgy at St. Domenic's Roman Catholic Church. We now need to build up funds to buy our own property in order to celebrate our traditional Maronite Liturgy. We ask you to please donate what you can to the fund. Below is the pre-authorized document which you can print out, fill out and bring it to the St. Domenic's on Sunday before or after the Divine Liturgy. You can also call Fr. Charbel Bousamra at 416-414-9165 to arrange another time. We have currently hit the $3220/month mark but we are still far away from getting our own church. On August 14th, 2012, St. Charbel Maronite Church will be holding their first annual golf tournament.
The purpose of the event is to help support the building fund of our church. Also a portion of the proceeds will go to the needy children of the Marc Diab Foundation (www.marcdiabfoundation.com)
